tesa® 4831 is a silicone free masking tape made of a PET/non-woven backing and an acrylic adhesive with high temperature resistance.

- Excellent adhesion also to rough surfaces.
- Residue free removal even after oven drying cycles up to temperatures of 180°C.
- No discoloring or ghosting on clear coats.
- Strong and tear resistant backing.

Application Fields

- Pre-bond masking for subsequent bonding applications, e.g. gluing of windows.
- Fixation/masking of parts during composite or metal sandwich construction.
- Also ideal for 2-tone painting providing precise paint edges.
- Powder coating.
